As some of you know we here in Laurel Run take part in local cruise's which is where at some establishment if you have a unique veihicle you gather, and show it off.

The first of this year was at the Wegman's supermarket Wilkes-Barre, PA. Both me and Sherry showed our trucks. Sherrys Durango is equipped with a three note Grover which I built back when I owned the Durango. Model Trucktone 1600 with a third bell power chamber added. By the way the Durango is a 1998 which still looks like it came off the assembly line, actually even better. Some may remember it from Altoona. The Grover's sound C, D#, G#.

My Avalanche who all of you know carries a four chime version of Sherry's horn. Two Trucktone 1600 Grover sets. C, D#, G#, C. Anyway we once tried mounting actuall Diesel locomotive horns, but with too many folks in close proximity, we didn't want to destroy someone's hearing. So we just answered questions about them. We did however sound off the Grover's at the request of many. Also we were running a competition with a guy who had a "General Lee" version horn on his Dodge Charger. We blew him away!

This was a nice relaxing time to check out other's wheels, and sit, and talk cars, truck's , even horns. We do this often. Oh yes Sherry's husband Mike had his 1966 GMC half ton short bed pickup, a works in progress along. A 250 cubic inch streight six with three on a tree! Wonder if some of you younger guys know what that means?

Moved out here in 1997 from NJ. A great move as far as I'm concerned, a little horn honking freedom, and a variety of trains!

The GMC caught my eye.
I have had a '60 V-6 (four on the floor) for over 40 years.
Is there more about Mike's truck somewhere?

Wyandot Classics And Cruisers is a car and truck club based in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. We are a family club, and many of the members attend shows with their wives and children. Our club is open to all makes and models of classic and collector vehicles as well as newer cars and trucks. Our current membership is about 40 members that enjoy meetings, car shows, cruises, and a yearly picnic. Where is Upper Sandusky, Ohio you may ask? Well, we are basically located at the crossroads of US 23 and US 30 in Northern Ohio. People often get us confused with the "Sandusky" that has Cedar Point, but we are about 60 miles South-West of them. We thank you for stopping by our website!!! We have posted many photos of members cars, photos from our cruise-in's, and scores of upcoming shows for your enjoyment. Please spend some time, get to know us, and enjoy some great 50's, 60's, and 70's music during your stay. If you enjoy our site please be sure to tell others, and let us know too!!!
