Hey all,
I got all the big parts I need for my big whistle and horn rig.

The platform-- 7000lb GVW 15ft car-hauler trailer.

The compressor-- Ingersoll Rand 100CFM @ 100PSI 4cylinder hercules 1600 gasoline engine, rotary screw compressor

The air receiver tank--620 gallon 150PSI working pressure 42in Dia x 10ft long, 2 3in. ports, 2 2in. ports, 3 1in. ports, 3 3/4 in. .250in. shell thickness.

See tank drawing PDF here:http://hornwhistleboard.com/download.php?id=5001&f=12

See ASME data report here:http://hornwhistleboard.com/download.php?id=8911&f=19

See attached photos.
Stay tuned for future developments.

Removed the towing kit from the compressor, slid it on the trailer. Moved tank all the way forward, this gives me about 200lbs tongue weight. This is a little light for a 5000lb trailer will adjust this with my 300DVE.

I'm going to keep the angle iron cradle arrangement for the air tank, with 4x4's ripped on an angle to cushion the mounting. will secure the tank via the existing mounting lugs with turnbuckles attached to lugs welded to trailer frame.

Will need to weld a couple cross-members to securely bolt down the compressor.

Feeling a little artistic and a lot patriotic this weekend Laughing What do you think??

I absolutely love the color scheme. Can't wait to hear the Tyfon 300DVE at full song!

Looks like a nuclear bomb! You'll get a lot attention with this. Since the tank was made for vertical mounting - do you have any possibility to drain it now?

Dirk,
There are 2 1inch NPT ports, at the bottom of my current mounting position, I put drain valves in both. There is also a 12inch x 16inch manway.

You need a life-size Slim Pickens mannequin to ride on top.
